Chill Penguin isn't a very fast runner. But then, neither is the Maverick he's currently chasing.

It's the wings, really. They cause a lot of drag for Morph moth when he isn't flying. And he's afraid he'd be even easier to spot in the air. But at least he has longer legs than Chill Penguin! Air resistance or not, that's giving him a slight speed advantage.

It doesn't help him outrun Chill's weapons range, though. When a blast of Shotgun Ice cuts off the route he was taking he ducks down an alleyway, still hoping to outrun and lose the Maverick Hunter.

But he's been herded into a dead end - emphasis on dead if he doesn't get out of here. He looks up, ready to risk flying out, when something small hits him in a wing. And then he's gone.

"What?! Where did he go?"

"Storm Eagle? Did you get him?" the short Hunter asks over the communication channel.

[what_virus]

"You mean you lost him?" Storm Eagle had been waiting above to pick off the moth reploid if their prey had tried to fly away.

"It's a dead end alley, but he's not here!"

Storm Eagle lands by the other Hunter, but there's no sign of the Maverick. "Palette? We lost him."

"It's not just you," comes the reply over communication channel. "Scanners aren't picking up any other reploids in the area besides the two of you. I don't know where he could have gone, but he's gone."
